I don’t think this would have been my challenge if I didn’t mention my favourite writer. Although, there’s so many beautiful quotes in The Great Gatsby, one of them being the inspiration behind my blog name, I decided to go with this one. I feel as if this summaries Gatsby as a character as a whole. He was a mysterious character, even down to his emotions, and this line shows his complete composure and Nick’s awe. A gorgeous line.
