Witchy Wednesday | Pick a Card: Monthly Forecast (January 2021)

Considering it’s the start of a new month (and year) I thought I’d try something new with this blog and offer monthly tarot and oracle card readings! Now, a small disclaimer, I am fairly new to offering these kinds of readings, usually only ever offering them to loved ones, however, I feel ready enough to try this.
You don’t have to be acquainted with tarot and oracle for this, there are no requirements, and you’re welcome to scroll down and read them all if you want to. Just enjoy the reading in whatever way you feel most comfortable with.

The best thing you can do right now is to take care of yourself, focusing on the ways you nourish and care for your body. The Page of Cups is a very joyful and creative soul, meaning that this month you’ll get into a positive creative flow when it comes to your hobbies and interests. She’s gazing up at the sky with wonder and excitement, sparking joy to those who view it. There’s a lot of hope in this reading, with an essence of love from The Lovers card. Whether this love be towards yourself or others, I’m getting the feeling that it’s towards yourself, it’s important to remember that there will be harmony this coming month. However, the Five of Swords is here to offer some advice: you need to work on your confidence, but with a little self-love and nourishment, the universe believes that you’ll get there.

This reading is very much focused on the idea of healing and personal development. The universe is advising you to rise up from the things that are holding you back; it’s time to be bold. I’m getting the feeling that this is a reading themed around creativity and creative expression, meaning there’s a hobby or project that you’ve been holding back from partaking in, and the universe is telling you that it’s time to express yourself creatively and invest time and energy into that particular thing. The Page of Wands is walking away from something, possibly self-doubt, and along with the 5 of Cups which is surrounded by grief and self-pity. However, there are also cards in this reading reminding you of what joy that project and idea brought into your life and how it’s time to regain that enthusiasm and enjoy the moment. The 4 of Swords is here to remind you that this project will bring you comfort and healing: you deserve this.
