One of my goals for the New Year was to start being more productive on this blog, which I think I’ve achieved in the past month. Although, there were a few timing issues, I think I managed it as best as I could have. Besides, it’s only been one month, by the end of the year I might be even more efficient than when I first started! That’s the goal anyway. Continue reading “January ’20 | Wrap Up”

I swear this month has only been about a week long, but its been incredibly productive blog wise. Although, I had a little stumble in the middle, hardly feeling able to pick up a book, I managed to scrap it back at the end. Hopefully, my enthusiasm will continue into March! After the success of January’s TBR, I thought I’d continue with my jar system. At the beginning of each month I’ll pick three titles out of a jar full of names and those will be my prioritised reading for the month. After that, I’ll start reading any given ARC’s or books that I simply can’t stop thinking about. I was initially a little nervous for this month’s draws, hoping not to get any books that are too bulky considering the slightly shorter time frame, but I’m so happy with the ones I pulled out! I’m hoping to try and complete them quite quickly this month as I feel as if my Audible and Netgalley lists just seem to be getting bigger!

I think this might be the latest I’ve ever published this post, but unfortunately I’ve been too busy to create it.
Plus, procrastination is a curse. No matter, it’s taken a lot of thought into who to dedicate this month’s character to, and with deep consideration I’ve decided to talk about someone who has been a huge part of my life since I was a child. I was tagged by the wonderful Dougie (Second Star To The Right) to participate in 20 book-related questions and it was so much fun! Continue reading “Telling Tales | The 20 Questions Tag”
I originally was considering dedicating this week to anticipated reads for the second half of the year, but I’ve done two weeks like this in the past and I thought that was overdoing it slightly. (I’ll probably run out of ideas and do it eventually though) So, I thought I’d write about books I love so much that I never get fed up of. There’s quite a long list, so it’s difficult to put it down to five, but I’m sure I can do another like it eventually. Continue reading “Top Five Tuesday | Books I could reread forever”
Considering we’re now deep in the depths of deadline hell, I thought it would be fitting to dedicate this week to five authors that inspire me to create. I’m currently undertaking a BA in Creative and Professional Writing and we’re often provoked into talking about our inspirations for our pieces. These guys turn up pretty often! Continue reading “Top Five Tuesday | Authors that inspire me”
This week’s Top Five is dedicated to my old beloved series currently collecting dust on my shelves. I’ve been meaning to read these again for years, yet I have an intimidating pile in my room of books I’ve never read, and they’ve become an automatic priority… even though the pile only ever seems to get bigger.
