July ’20 | Wrap Up

This month has been a slight improvement to June reading wise, and I’ve managed to find a few new favourite reads. Fingers crossed things improve for August.

So, this month I’m mixing things up a little. Usually, I take my read’s for the month via a TBR Jar, however, considering this month is my birthday month I felt it was time to treat myself and choose my reads for July.

Top Five Tuesday | YA Recommendations

My boyfriend recently bought a Kindle, having wanted to get back into reading for a while now, and it got me thinking of what my personal recommendations would be. There’s so many to choose from and it took a while to break them down, but here we go. Without further ado, here are my top five Young Adult recommendations!

Character of the Month (July ’18) | Gabriel Boutin

Yet again, I’m late with this month’s post. I’m starting to think I’m subconsciously trying to reschedule when this post should be uploaded. Nevertheless, I’ve decided to stop my little habit I’ve been having of trying to alter the gender of my characters per month and simply talk about whoever I love whenever. Hopefully, this’ll help my scheduling better as I’m not restraining myself when choosing someone each month. Anyways, rambling aside, onto this month’s character! 

Top Five Tuesday | Authors I’m hoping to meet at YALC 2018

So, this week is the one we’ve been counting down for since last year; YALC (Young Adult Literature Convention) and LFCC (London Film & Comic Con) Weekend! This year is going to be my first time attending both, even though I’ve been monitoring it for years, but I’ve finally been able to find the time and cash to attend. So, considering it’s so close, I thought I’d dedicate this week’s Top Five Tuesday to the authors I’m most anticipating meeting. I’ve decided to limit myself to two books to get signed per author, as I don’t want to be that person and I struggle with a lot with my back after an injury a few years ago so I don’t want to be carrying too many books into the venue before the convention even starts!
