Top Five Tuesday | Favourite Book to Screen Adaptations

So, since the release of Shadow and Bone on Netflix, I’ve been thinking a lot about the quality of films and television shows that were adapted from books. There’s so many good ones out there, that I thought I’d compose a short list of a few of my favourites.

Top Five Tuesday | Books in my Audible library

So, it’s been a while since I’ve written one of these posts, having had to take a step back from the blog and concentrate on personal circumstances. However, even though I haven’t been reading much, that definitely hasn’t stopped me from downloading a bunch of books each month. My Audible library is looking a little cramped right now, but it’s nothing that a few days commuting cannot help!

Character of the Month (March ’20) | Fred and George Weasley

I apologise for how late this post is this month, but I really struggled to find the right character. At first, I was trying to restrict myself via gender, deciding it was time for another female character of the month, yet I couldn’t find one that resonated with me enough, so I eventually allowed my mind to flow freely again. And that’s when I had it. Besides, with the world the way it is right now, we all need a little light in our lives.

Top Five Tuesday | Favourite F/M Couples in fiction

It’s been a while since I’ve had the motivation to write another Top Five Tuesday, but considering this week is Valentines Day, it’s given me the inspiration needed to finally write this post. A few years ago, I wrote a post along similar lines of my Favourite M/M Couples in YA, but this year I decided to broaden the subject slightly to make things a little easier.

For once this post will be up around the time I’d hoped! I’ve got more time at the moment, meaning I can return to my blogging with a little less stress. After the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald last week, I felt as if it was obvious who this month’s character would be dedicated to.

A while back I listed my top five male character names and had a lot of fun choosing and talking about my reasoning for them. (Read my decisions here) So, I thought it was only fair that I do the same with female characters. There’s a lot of interesting names out there, so there’s a huge chance that I’ll redo this list at some point. However, currently, these names are my favourites!

Top Five Tuesday | Books I could reread forever

I originally was considering dedicating this week to anticipated reads for the second half of the year, but I’ve done two weeks like this in the past and I thought that was overdoing it slightly. (I’ll probably run out of ideas and do it eventually though) So, I thought I’d write about books I love so much that I never get fed up of. There’s quite a long list, so it’s difficult to put it down to five, but I’m sure I can do another like it eventually.
