2021 | (Yearly) Wrap Up

It’s that time of year again, guys, it’s the yearly Wrap Up! This year I’ve decided to minimise what’s been happening with the yearly events, as I’ve not particularly done much aside from reading and writing. However, there’s a few accomplishments to talk about which I’ll get into soon. Anyways, onto the post!

So, since the release of Shadow and Bone on Netflix, I’ve been thinking a lot about the quality of films and television shows that were adapted from books. There’s so many good ones out there, that I thought I’d compose a short list of a few of my favourites.

So, this month my mental health has deteriorated slightly, meaning I’ve felt unable to read as much as I’d have liked. Nevertheless, I’ve been persevering with Graphic Novels and Manga to keep my Goodreads Challenge numbers up.

Top Five Tuesday | YA Tropes I Love

So, this month I’ve delved into a few titles that I wouldn’t usually explore, such as Women’s Literature and Chick Lit, which has opened a few doors to me about tropes that are popular within those genres. As someone who has been in love with the Young Adult genre from a young age, I’ve discovered a lot about what’s popular and not within the genre and so I thought I’d compose a post about some of my favourite tropes within YA.

Top Five Tuesday | Favourite F/M Couples in fiction

It’s been a while since I’ve had the motivation to write another Top Five Tuesday, but considering this week is Valentines Day, it’s given me the inspiration needed to finally write this post. Plus, the fact that Newt and Tina were separated only made things more muddled in The Crimes of Grindelwald so it wouldn’t be right to separate them on this blog too…

November ’18 | Wrap Up

Firstly, I’d just like to apologise for how late this post is, but I’ve felt unable to blog until now. This past month I’ve not been as active on this blog as much as I’d have liked. My health has suffered slightly recently, meaning I’ve hardly been motivated to do much outside of this blog, let alone with the content I create. Unfortunately, this means I’ve not made much progress with reading either. But no matter! December is a new month and I’m going to try my hardest to get back into the swing of things again.
