So, September wasn’t a very productive month for me, falling off the wagon slightly when it came to my reading. However, this month I’m going to try my best to read alongside my studies and find a few things to be excited about. Fingers crossed it works!

Top Five Tuesday | Books I Wish Were Movies/TV Shows

So, since the release of the Netflix Shadow and Bone series, it got me thinking about what other YA titles would make great film and television adaptations. There’s some incredible worlds out there, but here’s just a handful of ones which I’d love to see on the big screen someday.

So, I’m determined to make this year less doom and gloom and allow myself to be excited for some of the book releases that are coming out this year. Some I’m already aware of and are on my Amazon wish list, but some I’ve only just discovered. Nevertheless, they’re going to be exciting to explore.

Top Five Tuesday | Best Reads of 2020

Happy new year! As it’s the first week of January I thought I’d take the time to celebrate the best reads from last year. 2020 | (Yearly) Wrap Up

It’s that time of year again, guys, it’s the yearly Wrap Up! So, every year since creating this blog I’ve done things differently, namely due to the size of this post and how taxing it is to write. However, this year I’m going to try and minimise the size of it and focus on what’s the most important things to talk about: my love for books and my Goodreads goal. Telling Tales | The “oops, I did it again” Haul

So, this month I’ve been purchasing a lot of books, I will admit that. However, the reason behind it is due to the sheer amount of books that are on sale right now, or that have been released. This time, I managed to spend my Waterstones rewards on a few, managed to get more on sale in HMV and pre-ordered my favourites on Amazon. Anyways, enough of me trying to justify why I treated myself, onto the list!

Character of the Month (August ’20) | Audrey Rose Wadsworth

Note: This post contains spoilers from the Stalking Jack the Ripper Series.

This month’s character was quite easy to choose, having been tempted to reread the series all month, except my TBR pile was looming over me to complete. This character is one that has been a long time coming and I’m so excited to finally have an excuse to discuss them. Continue reading “Character of the Month (August ’20) | Audrey Rose Wadsworth”
