Telling Tales | The “oops, I did it again” Haul

So, this month I’ve been purchasing a lot of books, I will admit that. However, the reason behind it is due to the sheer amount of books that are on sale right now, or that have been released. This time, I managed to spend my Waterstones rewards on a few, managed to get more on sale in HMV and pre-ordered my favourites on Amazon. Anyways, enough of me trying to justify why I treated myself, onto the list!

So, recently, I went on a bit of a requesting binge on Netgalley, there being so many upcoming titles that are so exciting and incredible that I couldn’t help myself! And, as it turns out, I was approved for all of them! Take a look below at what I’m most excited about, I better get reading!

This month’s character was quite easy to choose, having been tempted to reread the series all month, except my TBR pile was looming over me to complete. This character is one that has been a long time coming and I’m so excited to finally have an excuse to discuss them.

Top Five Tuesday | My dream YALC Line-up

So, this week was originally meant to be the week YALC (Young Adult Literature Convention) was to be hosted in London. However, due to current circumstances, it has been postponed until July 2021. It’s unfortunate, it being something I look forward to every year, but it’s definitely the best decision that could have been made at this time. Regardless of that, I thought I’d still celebrate the spirit of YALC in a blog post of authors I desperately wish to see on the line-up sometime. Each of these authors have a very special place in my heart and on my bookshelves. It was extremely difficult to narrow it down to five, but I’m very happy with the results.

April ’20 | Wrap Up

Although, current circumstances means we’ve been having quite a limited lifestyle outside of this blog, online has been booming with content. Even though, I’ve had a few mishaps with timings again, I’ve still managed to create content that I’m proud of.

Telling Tales | A Kindle Book Haul

It’s been a while since I’ve picked up my Kindle, however, with the current circumstances I felt a little guilty purchasing things online that weren’t essential. So, luckily I owned a Kindle paperwhite, and felt it was about time I treated myself to a few titles that had a good deal on. I’m very impressed with the amount I managed to get with my giftcard!

So, even with the current circumstances, I’m still unable to make a dent in my TBR; the books just keep piling up! Admittedly, since getting back into my Kindle, books have been continually mysteriously downloading. However, I should be making some progress.
