So, this month has been a very challenging one for me, not quite managing as much reading as I’d have preferred. However, I’ve tried my hardest to pull it back as much as possible, managing a few reads regardless of my lack of motivation.Continue reading “September ’21 | Wrap Up”
It’s that time of the month again, it’s time for your Monthly Forecast! For those curious, all you have to do is choose a pile of cards below, scroll to that pile’s subheading and receive this month’s tarot reading. Feel free to drop a comment below of what you thought!Continue reading “Witchy Wednesday | Pick a Card: Monthly Forecast (September ’21)”
So, August wasn’t a very productive month for me, falling off the wagon slightly when it came to my reading. However, I’ve decided to stick with a few reads in September that I’m genuinely excited to read. Hopefully, everything will go okay.Continue reading “September ’21 | To Read”
This month I’ve been a little occupied elsewhere outside of this blog, so my apologies for my distance. However, I’m hoping to pick things up again in October which will hopefully improve my blog as a whole.Continue reading “September ’20 | Wrap Up”
As my reading has become quite steady these past few months, I’ve decided to give the TBR Jar a break for an extra month and delve into some titles I’m excited about to try and boost my reading a little. Last month I managed to read a total of 4 books, so fingers crossed I’ll beat it this month. Continue reading “September ’20 | To Read”
I knew that when September came around that my blog schedule would fall a little; I’ve recently moved away and began my masters degree. However, I didn’t expect it to fall this much! Honestly, I’ve lost a little motivation to read, but am hoping to find new places in the town I’ve moved to that I feel comfortable reading in and try and boost the blog up a little! Note, many of the titles from now on will be on my reading list so might not be the usual content I post, but I don’t want to completely ignore them as I won’t have time to read both my own reading and reading for university. Another late post! I have no excuse for this other than the fact I didn’t realise the date and thought it was still September for another few days… How is it the end of another month already? I feel as if it was only a week ago since I was last composing August’s post. Unlike last month, however, this one has all the segments covered. Although, I’ve spoken about this a little on Twitter, I’d just like to apologise for my disappearance, both on this blog and elsewhere online. I’ve recently moved away from home for university, which affected my mental health pretty badly. I’m still adjusting and trying to get back into the swing of self-care, but it’s proving a little difficult. No matter, I’m going to try my best to balance it all with this blog too!
Anyways, for this month’s character, I decided against using someone known throughout the YA world, exploring the wider genre of adult fiction. Then, I landed on someone I fell in love with from the very first page.
This month’s To Read is going to be a little less hectic, but I’m honestly unsure how successful it’s going to be. I’m moving away to university in less than two weeks, so I’m spending most days with family and friends and preparing for the move. However, as soon as I’m settled in I’m sure I’ll be able to return to my reading before my course officially starts.
These choices are all from what I picked up at YALC a few months back, giving me a little more excitement about this month’s plans! I really hope I’ll be able to get around to all of them. I’ve also put down a few ARC’s I’ve received from Netgalley, feeling as if I’ve been neglecting that site somewhat recently and there’s a few I’m behind on. Fingers crossed I’ll manage it!
