So, this week I’ve been rereading one of my favourite manga series and I’ve been having such a positive time doing it that it’s made me think about what other books I’d like to revisit this year. So, here’s a little list. Is there any books you’d like to revisit?Continue reading “Top Five Tuesday | Books I’m hoping to reread in 2021”
So, this one is a little different to the ones I usually write, being a little more in depth than a simple book cover, but that’s because I haven’t felt very motivated to read lately. By doing this post, I’m hoping it’ll encourage me to fall back in love with words and get delving back into the books of my TBR. We’ll see!

Considering this is the first Top Five Tuesday post of 2020, I thought I’d take the time to reflect on the year just passed and talk about some of my favourite discoveries of 2019. Thankfully, there was quite a few to choose from! Continue reading “Top Five Tuesday | Best Reads of 2019”
Note: This post contains spoilers from The Raven Cycle series.
So, considering this month is Call Down the Hawk November in my books, I thought it’d be suitable to talk about one of my favourite characters from both The Raven Cycle and The Dreamer Trilogy; Mr Adam Parrish. However, currently I am yet to complete Call Down the Hawk, I’m around 3/4 of the way through it, so this post will not contain any spoilers from the latest book. It may contain those from The Raven Cycle, however, so consider yourselves double warned for anyone yet to complete the series!
This is the final post in the 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge, which I’ve managed to just about complete on time! Thank you for a final time to Lost at The Chronicles of Tick Tock. I’ve had so much fun choosing my favourite quotes and could quite happily keep listing them forever.
Check out Day Two here. Continue reading “Telling Tales | 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge (Day Three)”
I adore characters. I have the tendency to become attached to characters the moment I read their names, so I thought I’d dedicate this week to some of my favourite male character names. Some may be protagonists, some antagonists, but I love their names too much to dislike them regardless. Continue reading “Top Five Tuesday | Favourite Character Names (Male)”
I feel as if the young adult titles I’m mostly familiar with have the tendency to be extremely male orientated, even in my own novels I seem to resonate more with male narratives than female. Considering I’m currently trapped within the depths of university hell, where both of my current novels have male protagonists, I felt like I should talk about some of my favourite females across young adult literature… and honestly, it was pretty tough. Considering we’re now deep in the depths of deadline hell, I thought it would be fitting to dedicate this week to five authors that inspire me to create. I’m currently undertaking a BA in Creative and Professional Writing and we’re often provoked into talking about our inspirations for our pieces. These guys turn up pretty often! This Top Five may contain spoilers.
Due to unrelated circumstances, I ended up missing last week’s Top Five, which got me quite down as I find these posts the most fun to make. However, it ended up working in my favor as I’ve been planning this post for Valentines for so long. Continue reading “Top Five Tuesday | Favourite M/M Couples in YA”
