Top Five Tuesday | My dream YALC Line-up

So, this week was originally meant to be the week YALC (Young Adult Literature Convention) was to be hosted in London. However, due to current circumstances, it has been postponed until July 2021. It’s unfortunate, it being something I look forward to every year, but it’s definitely the best decision that could have been made at this time. Regardless of that, I thought I’d still celebrate the spirit of YALC in a blog post of authors I desperately wish to see on the line-up sometime. Each of these authors have a very special place in my heart and on my bookshelves. It was extremely difficult to narrow it down to five, but I’m very happy with the results. Top Five Tuesday | Authors I’m hoping to meet at YALC 2018

This year is going to be my first time attending both, even though I’ve been monitoring it for years, but I’ve finally been able to find the time and cash to attend. So, considering it’s so close, I thought I’d dedicate this week’s Top Five Tuesday to the authors I’m most anticipating meeting. I’ve decided to limit myself to two books to get signed per author, as I don’t want to be that person and I struggle with a lot with my back after an injury a few years ago so I don’t want to be carrying too many books into the venue before the convention even starts!  Continue reading “Top Five Tuesday | Authors I’m hoping to meet at YALC 2018”

April ’18 | Wrap Up & May To Read

I’m extremely happy to say that this month has been so much better than the last; I feel more refreshed as a person and definitely ready to continue with my education and blogging as normal. This month I’ve played about more with my content and my life outside of blogging; I’ve pushed my own boundaries and am extremely happy with the results. Although, I’ve had the occasional downfall, I feel as if I’ve come out of it as a better person. With the help of some of the things I learnt while in CBT I’ve managed to do all this while still taking care of both my mental and physical health.  Continue reading “April ’18 | Wrap Up & May To Read”
