Top Five Tuesday | Best Reads of 2018

Considering this is the first Top Five post of 2019, I thought I’d take this time to reflect on the year just passed and talk about some of my favourite discoveries of the year. Thankfully, there was quite a few to choose from!

2018 | (Yearly) Wrap Up

So, I’ve been putting off writing this mammoth of a post for around a week now, meaning I’ve left it to the night of New Years Eve to get it done; more specifically around 4 hours left of the year. Not bad going, really. Anyways, this year has been full of highs and lows, some more serious than the others, however, it’s time to finally wave goodbye to the whirlwind of 2018 and say hello to 2019… please, be nice to us.

Telling Tales | Christmas Book Haul 2018

So, this Christmas my family treated me to a wide selection of books; I’ve been completely spoiled. As there’s quite a few, I thought I’d compose a little blog post and give them each their own little moment in the spotlight. They’re not all young adult books this year, surprisingly, but I’ll still give them a mention as I’m so excited to get stuck into them.

Okay, hear me out. I know that I made Newt Scamander the Character of the Month in November, but I simply cannot stop thinking about this series and how wonderful all its characters are. Top Five Tuesday | Books I’m hoping Santa will bring (2018)

It’s been a long time since I’ve last managed to write a Top Five, so I thought I’d dedicate the final one of 2018 to books I’d like to see under the Christmas tree. Although, I’m not expecting these titles, it’s just something fun to help me refer to while scouring online at the New Years sales!

December ’18 | To Read

So, this post is a little late, but it’s taken me this long to consider exactly what I wanted to end the year with. Although, I’d originally planned to dedicate the final month of 2018 to books that would complete series or ones I’d been unable to finish throughout the year, I’m going to take it in a different direction. These books are ones that have been sitting on my shelf for far too long, so I thought it was about time I gave them the attention they deserve.

November ’18 | Wrap Up

Firstly, I’d just like to apologise for how late this post is, but I’ve felt unable to blog until now. This past month I’ve not been as active on this blog as much as I’d have liked. My health has suffered slightly recently, meaning I’ve hardly been motivated to do much outside of this blog, let alone with the content I create. Unfortunately, this means I’ve not made much progress with reading either. But no matter! December is a new month and I’m going to try my hardest to get back into the swing of things again.
